My name is Alex, the owner and founder of Re-Creation. I am an expert health practitioner and physical therapist with a first class reputation here in Manchester. Over the years I've helped many people overcome their health issues, from acute pain to long-standing chronic conditions. If you're looking for help, you're in the right hands.  

Having qualified as a massage therapist in 2001, for almost a decade now I have been developing a powerful yet simple system of integrated health based around the principles of Advanced Acupuncture, Deep Tissue Massage, Postural Integration, Visceral Manipulation, Myofascial Release, and more. These powerful approaches can change lives. My gentle care and guidance helps people overcome the difficulties they are facing. Imagine how good that feels!  

As a fully qualified acupuncturist and physical therapist I am committed to developing my skills and techniques to their fullest. I have trained with many famous therapists including Art Riggs, Ruth Duncan, The Barral Institute, Master Jefferey Yuen, Dr. Henry Mcann, as well as studying the powerful techniques of Tom Myers. With the practical application of this knowledge, people all over Manchester and beyond are feeling the difference each day. Wouldn't you like to find the same sense of freedom?

I'm Estelle Kensdale, and when I receive a great massage, I am a changed person.  My body feels supple, my aching muscles healthy and soothed.  My mind feels clear and focussed.  I feel energised, yet I sleep better.  I am reminded how it feels to feel good.  I am a Holistic Massage Therapist because I want to do that for other people.  

I trained with the prestigious Academy of Natural Health in London, and qualified with both the Massage Training Institute (MTI) and the International Therapy Examinations Council (ITEC).  

I am registered with both MTI and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) - the only Government-backed national voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.  I am also a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.  

As part of my Continued Professional Development, I am continually developing my massage practice in many ways.  Please see below a list of my current post-graduate qualifications - this will grow as I undertake more training.  

By being intuitive, open and creative in my approach, I also learn a great deal from each individual I work with, so Holistic Massage for me is very much a reciprocal practice.
